Riverbank’s Christmas Concert is a Sell Out!!!!
The lights were up, the music was playing and the cameraman was in and all for what? You’ve got it! The evening performance of the Riverbank Christmas Concert. It was a sell out!
The pupils were all geared up from Monday morning when they had their dress rehearsal. This was, closely, followed by the first performance for parents, carers, friends and relations which took place on Monday afternoon and was only about 25 seats short of a full sell out. This was very successful and the children did us all proud.
The next performance was on Tuesday evening. This performance is always very popular and there was a very enthusiastic audience in attendance, providing a great atmosphere for our young performers. On top of all of that we had SHMU in attendance and they were recording the concert for us. Maybe we should have had a Live in the Park event at Riverbank’s Car Park and beamed the concert live to the car park for those who couldn’t get a seat for the sell out concert!!! Kids, you were absolutely fantastic!!!
At the time of writing this post, I’m just getting ready to turn up the lights and the music for the third and final performance of this year’s Christmas Concert and I’m sure it will be just as great as the previous two. We hope you all enjoy it!
A great big thank you to all the pupils for their superb efforts and also to ALL the staff, teaching and support, who helped make the concert so successful. Well done everyone!!!
