Light Up Your Life!!!

From yesterday, Thursday 11 February until Sunday 14 February, SPECTRA is running in Aberdeen. SPECTRA is Aberdeen’s Festival of Light. This year’s thems is ‘A Spark of Inspiration!’ and celebrates Innovation, Architecture and Design.

SpectraThis is an art festival which is completely different from looking at paintings in a gallery. The art is in the form of all sorts of light displays. One of the exhibitors at SPECTRA is Jim Buchanan who has worked with Riverbank pupils on the art of labyrinths. His visual spectacle of his labyrinth work looks superb and can be seen in St Nicholas Churchyard. You can find SPECTRA at Union Terrace Gardens, Marischal College, St Nicholas Kirkyard and Seventeen. There are different opening and closing times so check this out before attending.
