Valentine’s Day Disco

The calendar wasn’t very kind to us when it came to Valentine’s Day this year. The 14th of February fell on a Sunday and that wasn’t much good for holding a disco. Then, just to make matters worse, the 15th was a mid term holiday and the 16th and 17th were in-service days for the teaching staff. So, in order to have some time to organise tickets and ‘fun’, the Parent Council decided to hold the Valentine’s Day Discos on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 February. A little late we know….but well worth waiting for.

Primaries 1 and 2 discoed from 4.00pm until 5.15pm and they had such fun! Some of the dancers were just excellent!! The Primary 3s and 4s had their turn from 5.45pm until 7.00pm and they too had a great time.

It will be the turn of Primaries 5, 6 & 7 tomorrow night. They will disco from 5.45pm until 7.00pm.

A big thank you to the Parent Council for organising these Valentine’s events, it is a huge task for so many children at Riverbank.
