Mrs Sunley’s Leaving Day
Our Depute for Early Stages, Mrs Sunley, left us a few weeks ago to start her maternity leave. We couldn’t let her go without a bit of a send off.
The classes presented her with cards and bunting and all sorts of gifts. AND she couldn’t be allowed to go without receiving a famous Riverbank blanket knitted by some of our Busy Bees. Mrs Sunley actually received her blanket the day before the assembly, and each child who knitted a square explained how and why they had chosen the colour and what it was to represent.
A quite emotional Mrs Sunley was fairly weighed down with all her lovely, thoughtful gifts.
