Caterpillar Fun In Riverbank Nursery
Nursery have been investigating the lifecycle of the butterfly by bringing 33 tiny caterpillars into the nursery to watch as they grow and change into butterflies. The children have been studying the caterpillars closely and watching for changes. This week all the caterpillars have gone into their cocoons and the children are watching eagerly for the day they hatch into butterflies. When the butterflies are all here, the children will be able to release them in the garden. More pictures to follow!
