We have a number of pupils at Riverbank from Indonesia and the Aberdeen University Students’ Association have an event running, this weekend, showcasing the culture and beauty of Indonesia. It is to be held in the Butchart Centre in University Road on Friday 20 March from 5pm until 8pm and most importantly, entry is free!

There will be musical performances – angklung – an amazing Indonesian instrument –  as well as performances of traditional dance, an opportunity to find out about the games they play and sample traditional Indonesian food.

Thanks to parents for letting us know about this event and we hope some of you will go along and find out a bit more about ‘Wonderful Indonesia’!
