Busy Bees Present Gift for Baby

Our Busy Bees knitters have been very busy recently as they had a deadline to meet! Our Primary 2-3 teacher Mrs Henderson is leaving, next Friday, 1st May, to begin her maternity leave.

Mrs Henderson thanks some of the Busy Bees and folds away the amazing blanket. Must be going to her bottom drawer for a short spell.

Our knitters couldn’t let the occasion pass without handing on a wee gift for the new arrival, so at a whole school assembly this morning, they proudly handed over their gift but that wasn’t before reciting a special poem for Mrs Henderson.

A ‘blooming’ Mrs Henderson was, then, embarrassed by our Head Teacher, Mrs Ironside’s, amusing few words. We all look forward to hearing if Mrs Henderson has a boy or a girl and I’m sure she will enjoy putting her feet up, at home, for the next few weeks before the Henderson household have their sleep disturbed! And…..of course we’ll all expect a visit in due course.
