Primary 2B Make Weather Vanes
Will 2B be competition for the Met Office?
Primary 2B have been training to be weather scientists or meteorologists. They have been finding out all about the weather. To help them do this, they made weather vanes. These would help them tell in which direction the wind was blowing.
Working in groups of three, they carefully followed instructions to construct their weather vanes. Under the careful watch of Mrs Wood, the children went outside to test their newly made weather apparatus. On Tuesday 8th September the class found out that the wind was blowing from the east.
We think that their weather vanes look fantastic and I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear more from our budding weather scientists.
Well done P2B and Mrs Wood.
