Junior Enterprise

Riverbank has been visited by an old friend over the last few weeks. Steve Cassells has come in to work with the Primary 7s on the Junior Enterprise Game.

The pupils are divided into small groups and have a virtual business to run. They have to design their product and produce a logo, pay wages, introduce a programme of research and development and advertise their goods. Each week they had to look at their business plan and adjust it accordingly. They filled in a form and Mr Cassells would take away their instructions and feed it into the Junior Enterprise computer which would work out their companies’ new share prices.

This week Steve returned and presented certificates to teams who had performed best in different categories and everyone who took part received their very own Junior Enterprise pen…….only a limited edition, no less.

Our proud Primary 7s display their certificates from the Junior Enterprise Game. We’re pleased that you all enjoyed the experience.

The children seemed to have enjoyed the game and they must wait and see if our winning share price is good enough to get them into the city top six and win a prize for Riverbank. We’ll keep our fingers crossed!

Thanks goes to Steve Cassells for including Riverbank in the Junior Enterprise Game.
