Thistles and Highland Coos or should that be Cows?!
Miss Arnott’s Primary 2 class have been very busy since they returned following their Christmas holidays. To coincide with Burns Night, Primary 2B are enjoying a mini topic on Scotland.
They have learned about Robert Burns, Scotland’s national flower, the thistle and they’ve also done some fantastic art work on Highland cattle. I was very impressed with their art work and took some photos of their splendid display.
Below we have a slideshow of some close ups of the complete display. It looks fantastic and I love how they made their thistle with a handprint.
