That Ship Still Hasn’t Sunk Yet!!!

It will soon be the Easter Holidays and that’s when our classes are, usually, thinking of winding up their current topic and planning a new one. Our Primary 3s will be very sad to see an end to their topic on The Titanic. A huge variety of work across the curricular areas has been carried out. This has included newspaper articles, diary entries, plotting the voyage of the Titanic, art work and much, much more.

On top of all of this, many of the children carried out at home projects. I have seen a range of different models over the weeks, many of them were made at home with the help of parents and carers. They were fantastic!

Sadly, I thought I’d seen the last of the famous ship, for a wee while anyway, as the children move on to their new topics. However, along came a young man, from P3A, with a fantastic model, he’d made at home with help from his dad. See a photograph of him below.

Other children in the class had also brought in some super models which were homemade, too. We have some very talented parents and carers out there.
