Riverbank Sharing Assembly Part 1 – 24 March 2017
Friday 24 March 2017 saw the first of the two end of term sharing assemblies to be held at Riverbank. Sharing assemblies are an opportunity for the classes in school to share their learning with the rest of the school as well as parents and carers, who are, also, invited in to school for the occasion.
This first Friday saw presentations by P5B – Miss Gardner’s class, P4B – Mrs Barber’s class, P3B – Mr Nicoll’s class, P2B – Miss MacAulay’s class, P2C – Miss Arnott’s class and P1C & P1D presented a joint effort.
We learned so much about dinosaurs, counting, The Titanic, the Romans, bridge building and much, much more. Mrs Ironside was embarrassed by her lack of French, given that we had many examples of the French our children knew as well as songs being sung in French. I guess Mrs Ironside will be going to French classes during the holidays! Tres bien, merci to all our classes for sharing their learning.
On Friday 31 March we will have the second part of our sharing assemblies when P1A and P1B along with P6-7A, P6-7B, P6-7C, P5A, P4A, P3A and P2A. As always, all parents and carers are invited to come along and find out about what the children have been learning!
