The Little Princess presented by M&Ms Productions
One thing that has become a regular occurrence at Riverbank is the end of session treat with a visit from M&Ms Productions. You may recall that M&Ms very often provide us with a Christmas pantomime. They are a travelling theatre company and are able to provide a real theatre experience for the children in school. Their lighting, sound, scenery, props and costumes are always amazing and the pupils enjoy the live experience.
This end of session saw a production of The Little Princess. This is a story covering bereavement and bullying. The children loved the show and I was informed by some Primary 7 pupils that, ‘This show is so good!’ Even the younger children were engrossed in the story and Miss Bennett commented on the excellent behaviour of the pupils even when they became excited during the audience participation parts.
With such positive feedback, you be assured that it won’t be long before we invite M&Ms back, once more for the in school theatre experience!
