A Viking Longship
Miss MacAulay’s class are, currently, learning about the Vikings. As part of their topic, they had a homework project to make a Viking longship at home, with the help of adults.
This young gentleman came along to show me his longship. The Vikings on board the ship had the faces of members of his family and the shields along the side of the ship were one pence pieces. Cocktail sticks took the place of oars and the ships had a splendid sail.
Well done for completing your task. Your ship looked great.
