As part of our Technologies theme, members of Science Club had a K\u2019Nex Challenge.\u00a0 Using only K\u2019Nex, our job was to design and build a Frisbee that would fly through the air!\u00a0 We had three targets to meet \u2013 10 points if our Frisbee flew, 25 points if our Frisbee flew for at least 5 metres and 50 points if it flew for 5 metres and landed on a target.<\/p>\n

We spent some time looking at the materials available and then drew our designs on paper.\u00a0 Having done that, it was time to get building!\u00a0 Each of us built our own design before heading to the dining hall to test them out.\u00a0 We all did well, but thought we could make some improvements so it was back to Room 6 for some adjustments to our design and builds.\u00a0 Having made all our changes, we headed back to the dining hall where we all managed to make our Frisbees fly again.\u00a0 We also had a winner \u2013 Kelsi Stewart\u2019s Frisbee hit our target and she therefore won with the most points.\u00a0 Well done Kelsi, Michael, Julia, Hannah and Jack for such dedication to Frisbee building!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
