Blanket to Uganda<\/h2>\n

At Easter Miss Logan, from our nursery is going to Bezallel in Uganda with Tilly Vision. We are happy that she is going to take with her the last big square blanket from the 2014 Big Knit for the school in Bezallel.<\/p>\n

The squares for this blanket have been knitted by many of the pupils and some members of staff at Riverbank and the blanket has come together with a lot of help from Mrs Leith.<\/p>\n

This year, Klaudia from Primary 7 and Julija from Primary 6 have been working on learning how to crochet, so they have done some of the edging of the blanket.<\/p>\n

The embroidering of the school badge and the writing were done by Julie in Primary 6, Julija and Klaudia.<\/p>\n

I’m sure you’ll see, from the photographs, what a fantastic job everyone has made of the blanket and I’m sure our ‘friends’ in Bezallel will be delighted with it.<\/p>\n
