Primary 2s working together to find out about water<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

P2a and P2b have been working together on Wednesday afternoons this term. We have been looking at water and why it is so important to have access to clean water. We looked at the children in Uganda and how they have to travel far to get their water and even then it is not clean water. We then explored UNCRC article 24 which states that children have the right to access safe water to drink and realised how lucky we were to have access to the water that we do. Miss MacAulay and Miss Arnott then spoke to the boys and girls about a bore hole and asked if the children would like to help raise some money to buy a bore hole! They all agreed and our fundraising planning began…<\/p>\n
