<\/a>The Scottish Book Trust was promoting Book Week Scotland from Monday 24 to Sunday 30 November 2014 and our Literacy Coordinators at Riverbank decided they’d like everyone to join in. A staff\u00a0bookshelf is on display outside the nursery and you can find out what the staff at Riverbank read in their spare time.
\nThe task, set by the sneaky literacy coordinators, was to turn the classroom door into a book cover. Speak about rising to the occasion…….WOW!!!……you should have seen the results.<\/p>\nMrs Sunley was asked to judge which door was top of the bookshelf. She decided to judge the doors with the help of a pupil. Mrs S and Szymon toured the school and they were so impressed that they decided there could be no one winner and so all participants received a gift for their class to share as a reward for their fantastic efforts.<\/p>\n
