As part of the Riverbank teachers’ CPD, they recently took part in a session with Rob Bartlett from RADS (Russell Anderson Development School).<\/p>\n

Rob used the session to explain some of the work he, and the other RADS coaches, were carrying out with the Riverbank pupils. It’s always good to do what the children have to do, too!.<\/p>\n

An initial anxiety and reluctance – fear of the unknown or maybe the known – soon disappeared and the staff reported what an excellent CPD session it had turned out to be. Rob, himself, reported that the activity became ‘really quite competitive’ and that he had been nervous about presenting to the teaching staff. His fears had been forgotten in what became a very informative and enjoyable training class for the staff. It’s no wonder that the children come back rather red in their faces from their RADS sessions! It was a tricky session.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Rob for preparing and delivering the session, to the staff who attended for the very positive feedback they gave and well done to all. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend this session as I was in a meeting but I look forward to attending more of the same in the future.<\/p>\n
