We have a group of children who have been participating in the STEP programme. They work on literacy tasks in a physical or active way.<\/p>\n

Each pupil is paired up with a PSA and the two, pupil and PSA, work together as a team in completing a number of quite tricky tasks.<\/p>\n

The work carried out is recorded on an i-Pad and recorded on the STEP website. Our coordinator in school, Mrs Smith, works closely with the pairs in ensuring that the whole programme runs smoothly.<\/p>\n

We were so surprised, pleasantly that is, when Mrs Smith came to show us a certificate which had arrived. We were the STEP School of the Week for Scotland for the week of 15-19 of April. The team’s commitment to the STEP sessions had been 100% that first week back after the holidays.<\/p>\n

It’s amazing what a holiday can do to pep you up for the hard work ahead!<\/p>\n
