Riverbank School Concert
Look Out X Factor, Riverbank’s Got Talent!
Riverbank held its Christmas Concert on Tuesday evening with a re-run on Wednesday afternoon. The children from P1 to P6 were participating as the P7s are showcasing a pantomime next week.
There seemed to be a ‘Frozen’ theme as Mrs Sunley’snewly-formed choir, the P4-5s and P6 & P5-6 all sang songs from Frozen. Along with this icy blast, there were many well-known Christmas songs including Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The Cowboy Carol and a lovely nativity, complete with astronauts, presented by the P1s.
The weather on Tuesday evening was horrible and a big thank you to all who attended to support the school and, most importantly, the children. Thanks too, go to Alison Smith, one of our PSAs, her daughter, Suzannah and her niece Hannah who accompanied the choir with piano, flute and violin and not forgetting the rest of the school staff; teachers, PSAs and office staff who were all involved in making the concert the great success it was.
