Our Youngest Children Perform for Families
Thursday morning and afternoon saw our morning and afternoon nursery children perform their nativity – A Wriggly Nativity – for their families and friends.
The hall was filled with many proud parents, grandparents etc and opportunity was given for their children to be photographed before the performances began.
The two Marys – morning and afternoon ones, sang solos when lullabying the Baby Jesus. Great gusto was given to the song about the bumpy camel ride and the costumes, backdrop and props were super and the finale where the children sang The Wriggly Nativity was full of enthusiasm, energy and enjoyment. The children were applauded by a most appreciative audience before returning to the nursery for mince pies and something to drink.
Special thanks to the nursery staff for all their hard work in preparing and rehearsing the children and an even bigger thanks to the children for delivering the true meaning of Christmas in such a lovely way!
