Children in Need Day at Riverbank
Today was a ‘Dress As You Please Day!’ at Riverbank as a means of supporting Pudsey and the Children in Need Appeal 2015. The pupils arrived, dressed in whatever they pleased, and made a small donation to the Children in Need Appeal. There was a Guess the Number of Golf Balls Challenge and, as is customary at these events some lovely cakes to eat. Some of these cakes could be decorated by the children themselves. These cakes were made by the nursery children and I believe they were delicious but, sadly, I was unable to sample them.
Mrs Sunley and a band of worthy helpers were soon counting the money and we are delighted to say that we have collected the princely sum of £280! This is a fantastic sum for such a short, sharp effort.
Well done everyone and Mrs Sunley is hoping we’ll get a mention on the BBC tonight as we have logged our donation with them!
