Sport Relief 2016

Picture1From 18-20 March 2016 is this year’s Sport Relief. By participating in sporting activities, people hope to raise money for many worth causes. We, at Riverbank, have done quite a bit of fundraising recently but Mrs Tinto, our very own PE teacher, felt that we couldn’t let this opportunity pass us by. She organised for the classes to run a mile around the school grounds and for every mile the children run, she has managed to get local businesses to sponsor the children at £1 for each mile they clock up.

We’ll be sure to let you know just how much we’ve raised! I’m tired just thinking about all this running so a very special ‘Well Done!’ to all our runners and an extra special thank you to Mrs Tinto for all her hard work.
