Eat Your Heart Out Strictly! Riverbank’s Dancers Put On A Great Display

One of our after school groups at Riverbank is a dance group. This group is run with the support of Active Schools and has proved to be really popular with our pupils. I say this even though the group meet on a Friday after school at time when you’d think our pupils would be thinking of the weekend ahead, but no! Boys and girls attend the group and they participate in contemporary dance. I have to say that I’m an oldie but I think Hip Hop comes to mind when I watch them perform.

A few Fridays ago, I was invited, along with other staff who were still in school to see the dancers perform for their parents. They all worked so hard and put on a well-choreographed performance. The dance tutor said that she was very proud of how much they had learned and remembered in such a short time.

All those who attended were very impressed with the efforts of our dancers. Well done to you all and keep up the good work as I look forward to seeing your next performance.
