Sharing Assembly Part 2 & Congratulations to Mrs Ironside….AGAIN!

This morning saw Part 2 of the Riverbank Sharing Assemblies. This week’s Sharing Assembly was to showcase the work of Mrs Smith’s class, Primary 5, Primaries 1A & 1B, P4, P2A, P3A and P6-7A.

Once again we were treated to presentations of lots of the work which the children at Riverbank have carried out throughout the term. The range of topics covered from science to music, from football to art and so much more! The Primary 1s treated us to a singalong of Ye Cannae Shove Your Granny Aff the Bus!

The Absafe quiz winner was presented with the Absafe backpack. Well done to him! But the morning was completed with a presentation of some lovely flowers and a card to Mrs Ironside on her recent appointment as permanent Head Teacher at Riverbank. A big thank you to our young lady presenter and to our P7 and P1 pupil for handing over the gifts. I think Mrs I got quite a surprise. ‘Tears of joy’ commented one pupil!

A morning full of fun and enjoyment with a few surprises thrown in along the way…oh and very educational too! Thank you to all the pupils for their presentations and a big thank you to all of the staff for all their hard work, over the term, and producing such informative and enjoyable displays for us all…pupils, parents, carers, visitors and staff to see!
