Reaccreditation Success!

I’m sure you all remember that Riverbank was visited by RRSA Assessors in mid-March. We were to be reassessed at Level 2.

IMG_0959Although we had been very busy as a Rights Respecting School since our previous reaccreditation, there is always that niggling doubt that you may have missed something. The assessors gave our RRSA group and Management Team very positive feedback but we had to await the decision of the committee in London.

Well, the wait is over……and we are extremely proud to announce that Riverbank has successfully reaccredited at Level 2 RRSA. We are absolutely delighted for our pupils, staff and the whole school community. This great achievement was down to everyone at Team Riverbank working together to ensure that our pupils have a voice inIMG_0956 their education and that they enjoy their Rights along with understanding about the Rights of others who may not be as lucky as they are.

We are , to use a good Scots phrase, ‘absolutely chuffed to bits’  to find out that we are the first school in Scotland to have been accredited three times at Level 2. To be first adds further sparkle to our achievement.

Team Riverbank is delighted with the very detailed and complimentary report which we received from the assessors. The report captures the essence of RRS at Riverbank, and we are already working on maintaining and widening the scope of our RRS ethos into the wider community and beyond.
