An Entry from Tilly’s Diary!

Sunday 9th October

I got up very early this morning as I had to be at airport for 4am to meet everyone who was travelling to Uganda.  Mrs Ironside had packed all my stuff and I was ready to go.  We flew from Aberdeen to Amsterdam at 6am.  I loved Amsterdam airport and got my photograph taken with a giant dog!

We then flew from Amsterdam to Entebbe, stopping off in Kigali in Rwanda.  This was a very long flight.  We were on the plane for over 12 hours! We then drove to the hotel, the roads were a bit bumpy, I finally went to bed at 12.40 am – by this time I had been awake for nearly 21 hours, I must admit I was very tired.
