Primaries 4 – 7 Sharing Assembly

Friday 6 October 2017 was the date for the first Riverbank Sharing Assembly of the new academic session. With Riverbank’s roll increasing, it was decided that we would have to split the sharing assembly and have two of them. The Primaries 4-7 would host the first one with the Primaries 1-3 hosting their Sharing Assembly on the last day of term. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough room in the hall to accommodate all the pupils and parents and carers, too.

There was a super turnout of parents, carers and friends for the P4-7 Sharing Assembly. This gave the children a real feeling of importance; knowing that the wider school community was interested in finding out all about what the pupils had been learning about.

As usual there was a wide variety of topics covered in the presentations from the various classes. from the Ancient Egyptians to singing songs and from the input of a midwife as part of Living and Growing to paintings in the style of Picasso, the morning had it all. They say you learn something new everyday and I certainly did at Friday’s Sharing Assembly.

I look forward to Friday for the P1-3 Sharing Assembly.

Well done everyone and thank you for sharing your learning with us all!
