Mrs Smith’s Pupils Try their Hands at Table Tennis!

The children from Mrs Smith’s class were invited to the indoor tennis centre at the Westburn Park to try out table tennis and have a starter on tennis. The boys were able to participate in an number of activities before heading on to the table tennis tables.

The development of their hand eye coordination was amazing in table tennis- from hitting ‘fresh air’ with the bat, at the start of the session to being able to play against one another after 1 hour of coaching!!

You’ll see from our slideshow how much the children engaged and enjoyed this opportunity to participate in another sport.

Mrs Smith was so proud of our pupils as she said that the boys had listened well, behaved extremely well and were a real credit to the school!!

Well done chaps!
