Back to School!

Riverbank welcomed back all its staff today, Monday 20 August 2018. We had many “weel kent faces” as well as several new members of staff. Everyone is gearing up for the pupils returning tomorrow morning.

Just as a reminder, Primary 1 pupils, on their first day only, should come to the reception at 9.30am where they will be met by their class teacher or another member of staff. Their day will end at 12 noon when they should be collected from their classrooms via the classroom door on to the playground. Half days for the P1s will be for the first two weeks. For the rest of the school, P2 to P7, classes will commence at 9.00am and the day will end at 3.15pm.

A reminder, too, about new break and lunch times.

P1 and P2 will break from 10.30am to 10.45am.     P5, P6 and P7 will break from 10.45am to 11.00am.

P3 and P4 will break from 11.00am to 11.15am.

P1 & P2 will lunch from 12 noon to 1.00pm.     P5, P6 & P7 will lunch from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

P3 & P4 will lunch from 1.00pm to 2.00pm.

I would also remind all parents and carers that any child leaving school at lunchtime for a ‘home’ lunch will need to be signed out and collected by a parent or carer.
