A Digital Wider Achiever!

This young lady came to share her achievements with me.

She has been attending the Coding Club which runs at St George’s Church. For the uninitiated, like me, coding is the first stages of computer programming.

My friend from Primary 4 was telling me how she had been given two certificates. The first was for been a good attendee and the second was for completing a coding task. In the task, she had to code a game. Her design had flappy birds in it as well as some other characters. Some of the challenges within the task were tricky and some were quite easy she told me.

I think they would have all been quite tricky for me!

She enjoys her coding and told me that there are other children from Riverbank who also attend.

Lets hope that these young people become the video game designers of the future. Keep up the good work and further develop your coding skills.
