Little Giants

This is another catch up post…sorry…but we have been very busy.

Some time ago, we arranged a visit for our Primary 1s. This was a scientific visit and was to help explain about important things in our environment.

The visit was Little Giants and was a science workshop on the importance of bees! They are little but the job they carry out is gigantic! Without bees to pollinate them there would be no plants and without green plants we would have no air.

Some giant bees helped explain the importance of our pollinating insects and you can see by their faces just how much the children enjoyed learning about such an important scientific process.
