Christmas Concerts and Nativity
In a slight change from the last few years, we had three, lovely presentations by Riverbank pupils for parents, carers, friends and relatives. The timing of the concerts was staggered as our roll is so high now that we can’t accommodate everyone in the hall at one time.
The Primary 1s presented their very cute version of The Wriggly Nativity, whilst the P2s, 3s and 4s sang themed Christmas songs and or recited a poem. The P5s, 6s and 7s, also, performed songs and recited poetry.
The concerts were, as always, well-attended with a particularly vocal and enthusiastic audience at the Tuesday afternoon performances.
A favourite part of the P2-4 concert was everyone involved in the finale….an amazing rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas.
Thank you to the pupils and all the staff who helped and supported the children in presenting the concerts and nativity, a special thank you to Mr Dawson, our music teacher, who was responsible for coordinating all the pieces of music. Finally, a big thank you to all the parents and carers who helped out with costumes, which made all of the performances look particularly special!
