Riverbank School Re-Launches its Whole School Charter & Promotes the School Website & Class Blogs

Rights-respecting-school-logoFollowing on from the RRSA Group meeting of least session, it was decided that the time was right to revamp our whole school charter. The children, at the last House Meeting of last session, produced some beautiful, butterflies and these were to be used as part of the Whole School Charter. The previous charters had had a theme around hands.

This session, the RRSA Group visited all the classrooms and found out what each class had decided would appear on their class charters and which Articles of the UNCRC were most commonly occurring. From this, the whole school charter has been given a new lease of life. Please visit our ‘Butterfly Farm’ and find out what Rights are important at Riverbank.

The Charter will be relaunched during Parents’ Evenings next week and there’s also a chance for you to find out about our school website and, maybe, you could tell us what sort of things you’d like to see on the website or on the Class Blogs…or, maybe, we’re getting it right already!
