Riverbank’s Tilly the Terrier Takes a Trip to Uganda

The intrepid trio from Riverbank, Mrs Ironside, Miss Rowley and Miss Arnott, were made into a quartet when Tilly the Terrier decided that he, too, was going to find out for himself how things were going at Kamuli in Uganda! Our stowaway turned up in a suitcase at the airport and travelled on the lengthy flight to Uganda. Needless to say, he was a tad tired as the travelling party had to be at Aberdeen Airport for 4.00am on Sunday morning, arriving at their hotel in Uganda at 11.30pm.

Tilly was spotted at the airport!

Tilly wanted me to let you know that the weather is very hot and sticky in Uganda at the moment and he was quite curious about having to spend the night under a mosquito net! I hope he’s had all his injections for travelling and hasn’t forgotten to take his pills, too!! He felt much better the next morning with scrambled egg, sausage and samosas in his tummy before setting off on the next leg of the journey.

Tilly has promised that he’ll keep in touch and tell us all about his adventures. Just maybe, Mrs Ironside, Miss Rowley and Miss Arnott will too.
