Robertsons Construction Site

The children thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the Robertsons construction site within our local community.

The children loved witnessing the builders hard at work, wearing all the safety uniform and watching the forklift put on a show.

Thank you to Roberstsons Group for allowing us this opportunity and for all those who helped out on the day!

Christmas Tree

Today we went on a special trip by bus to Tyrebagger Forest to choose a Christmas tree for the Nursery. The children were led on an adventure through the forest by some of Santa’s helpers who were telling us lots of different facts about Christmas. We all had so much fun! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help on the trip. Have a look at the photos from our exciting morning!

Meadow Court

We had a recent visit to Meadow Court where the children and elderly have started to build really positive relationships.

Together they had snack, crafted tartan pictures for St Andrew’s Day, sang some songs, played games and had discussions together.

This is a beneficial experience for both the children and the elderly where they have opportunity to develop their social and emotional skills.

We would like to thank Meadow Court for making this possible and for all our parent helpers who have been great support.

We will be continuing to have regular visits to Meadow Court throughout the year.

Have a look at some of the photos from our visit so far!

Sponsored Walk 2018

Well done to all the children who took part in the Sponsored Walk before the October holidays! The children did extremely well and everyone successfully completed the aim of 4 laps (1 mile) round the playground.

A huge thank you also to everyone who supported the children and sponsored them to take part. We are delighted to say that those efforts have raised a total of £1794.58!!

Hoodles Trip

We had a great time at Hoodles yesterday. Everyone enjoyed playing in the soft play area  and outside, in the  open play area. The children were very active so we had some sleepy people on the bus home. Have a look at our photos!

Magician Visit

As a part of the School 10th Birthday, we were so lucky to have an exciting visitor – a Magician. He showed us so many fun tricks and the children were laughing a lot. Check for yourself 🙂

Nursery Open Day

Thanks to everyone who managed to come along to our Open Day. We hope you enjoyed seeing what was going on in Nursery and joining in with the children as they played. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Have a look at some photographs we took on the day.

The Critter Keeper Show

Today we had a visit of a Critter Keeper – what an amazing workshop!!!

He brought a selection of exotic animals and insects. The children were able to see them closely. They learned lots of interesting facts about them and were even able to touch some of creatures. WOW!!!

It was fun and exciting and most of the children (adults too) were brave enough to touch the critters!!!

We saw “Kaa” the Royal Python snake, “Kremit” the Tree Frog, “Marshmallow” the fluffy rabbit, “Prickles” The Pygmy Hedgehog, Bearded Dragon, Giant Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, “real” Incy Wincy hairy spider (Tarantula) and others.

See the photos and look at our facial expression!
