Primaries 5R and 5B, Mrs Russell’s and Mr Bloom’s classes recently held a Bing afternoon. They did this to raise funds to send two Primary 5 pupils to school at Kamuli Township School in Uganda.

Following a meeting on the afternoon of the BIngo, I headed along to the dining hall to see how things were going. The tension was amazing as so many people had their eyes down on their cards and concentrating on getting their single line, two lines or a full house.

Mr Bloom did a splendid job of calling the numbers and Mrs Russell had put together an excellent raffle for a super hamper.

Everyone who was there had a great time and the two Primary 5 classes raised nearly £170! Well done to them and everyone who supported their fundraising efforts.
